1. Cardiac & Heart Health: Heart Rate (continuous and resting), Heart Rate Variability (HRV) (SDNN), Walking Heart Rate Average, Heart Rate Recovery, Blood Pressure (Systolic & Diastolic), Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) Burden, Peripheral Perfusion Index, Cardiac Events (High heart rate, low heart rate, irregular heart rhythm, and low cardio fitness alerts)

2. Respiratory & Oxygenation: Respiratory Rate, Oxygen Saturation (SpO2), Lung Function Indicators: Forced Expiratory Volume (FEV1), Forced Vital Capacity (FVC), Peak Expiratory Flow Rate, Inhaler Usage

3. Sleep & Mindfulness: Sleep Analysis (In bed, asleep, awake, core sleep, deep sleep, and REM sleep stages), Mindfulness Sessions

4. Physical Activity & Movement: Daily Activity (step count, walking/running distance, cycling distance, swimming distance, flights climbed), Energy Output (active energy burned, basal (resting) energy burned), Apple Fitness Metrics (exercise time, stand time, move time), Gait & Mobility (walking speed, step length, gait asymmetry, double support time, stair ascent/descent speed), Running Dynamics (running speed, running power, stride length, vertical oscillation, ground contact time), Fitness Benchmarks (VO2 max, 6-minute walk test distance)

5. Body & Metabolic Metrics: Body Measurements (body mass (weight), height, body fat percentage, lean body mass, BMI, waist circumference), Body Temperature (core temperature, basal body temperature), Metabolic Tracking (blood glucose levels, blood alcohol content (BAC)),

In addition to the foregoing, we may use all of the above information to comply with any applicable legal obligations, to enforce any applicable terms of service, and to protect or defend the Services, our rights, the rights of our users, or others.

How Your Information is Used

WearCompare reads sleep, heart rate, and other health data you've authorized through Apple Health (HealthKit) in order to power the app's core features: displaying per-source sleep summaries, generating night-by-night hypnograms, and comparing metrics side-by-side across the wearables you use (e.g. Apple Watch, Oura Ring, Garmin). If you choose to export data, we use it solely to generate the CSV/JSON files you export via Apple's share sheet.

We do not currently use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. Any device or usage data described above is limited to what Apple's platform provides automatically (for example, anonymized crash reports, if you've opted in to sharing those with developers via iOS Settings).

Because the Service is currently in private beta, access is controlled by a single shared beta password rather than individual user accounts. Entering this password does not create a personal account or transmit any personal information to us.

We may also use information as necessary to comply with applicable law, enforce our Terms & Conditions, and protect the security of the Service and its users.

Data Storage & Security

WearCompare reads Health data directly from Apple HealthKit and processes it locally, on your device, within the app. The Service does not have a server backend and does not transmit your Health data to us or to any third party.

The only way your Health data leaves your device is if you deliberately export it and choose to share the resulting file yourself (for example, via AirDrop, email, Files, or a cloud storage app) using Apple's built-in share sheet. Once shared, that file — and how the recipient handles it — is outside of our control and no longer covered by this Privacy Policy. We recommend treating exported health files as sensitive and only sharing them with people or services you trust.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled by the Service; however, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Sharing

Your personal information will NOT be shared, as defined by California Civil Code Section 1798.83 (“Shine The Light Law”), with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.

In certain circumstances, your information may be shared with third parties. Such circumstances may include:

- To comply with applicable law or any obligations thereunder, including cooperation with law enforcement, judicial orders, and regulatory inquiries

- In connection with an asset sale, merger, bankruptcy, or other business transaction

- To enforce any applicable terms of service

- To ensure the safety and security of the Service vendor and/or its users

- When you request the Service to share certain information with third parties, such as through login integrations

- With professional advisors, such as auditors, law firms, or accounting firms, and with vendors and service providers who may help us operate the Services, such as hosting, analytics, security, communications, support, payment processing, and similar services.

You acknowledge that such sharing of information may occur in all of the aforementioned circumstances and is permitted by and subject to this Privacy Policy.

Your Choices

You can grant or revoke WearCompare's access to your Apple Health data at any time by going to iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Health > WearCompare.

You can decline to accept this Privacy Policy or our Terms & Conditions, in which case you will not be able to use the Service.

Deleting the app removes any data cached locally by WearCompare, but does not delete data stored in Apple Health itself — that data is managed separately through the Health app.
